Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade (born February 4, 2002) is an American basketball player who attends Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois. He is the son of current NBA player Dwyane Wade.
Early Life Edit
Wade was born to National Basketball Association player Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn Funches. After his parents divorced in 2007, his father married actress Gabrielle Union in 2014. He has two younger brothers Zion and Xavier. His middle names are Blessing and Dwyane. The highlight video of his work at John Lucas has over 7.5 million views on YouTube.
While always in the spotlight as the son of an NBA star, Zaire first began making a name for himself at the John Lucas Future of the Game camp when he was 10. He's been one of the top ranked youth basketball players since he was in the fifth grade.
High School Career Edit
Wade plays basketball Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois, where he would play with cousin Dahveon Morris. Both played on the school’s Freshman team and went under the radar for the most part (with no media covering games).
Wade’s freshman teammates shared balanced minutes and balanced scoring while playing a very competitive schedule. Zaire and cousin Dahveon stood out among their teammates due to their guard/passing skills and athleticism.
