Spencer Rivers (born June 27,1995) is an American former college basketball player who played for the UC Irvine Anteaters men's basketball team of Big West Conference. He is the son of former NBA player and the current Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, and the younger brother of current NBA player Austin Rivers.
Like his older siblings, Rivers played basketball at Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida, where he would play with his older brother, Austin Rivers, during his freshmen year of high school. . While in high school, Rivers led his basketball team to two state championship teams at Winter Park High. He averaged 10.1 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds as a senior for Coach Donald Blackmon, top-scoring game was 25 points vs. Central, and scored in double figures in 14 games as a senior.
He was a redshirt with the UC Irvine program during the 2014-15 season. In his second season, he played in 10 games for the Anteaters, scored five points in Feb. 17 win over Cal State Fullerton, had three points on a triple in Jan. 20 victory over Cal State Fullerton, and had two rebounds at Hawai'i Feb. 11

Rivers is the son of Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers and Kristen Rivers (née Campion),and has three older siblings: Jeremiah, Callie, and Austin Rivers. His older brother, Jeremiah, played basketball for Georgetown and Indiana and later joined the Maine Red Claws, while his older sister Callie played volleyball for the University of Florida and then played professionally in Puerto Rico, and Austin is a member of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers.
