Riley Elizabeth Curry (born July 19, 2012) is an American third generation celebrity, and is best known for being the oldest daughter of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.
Curry was born July 19, 2012 in Charlotte, the daughter of National Basketball Association player Stephen Curry and actress Ayesha Curry. Her parents met while in church group whenthey were teenagers. She has a younger sister Ryan.
Curry is multiracial. On her father's side, Curry is of primarily African-American descent, and on her mother's side, she is of Arican-American, Canadian, Polish, Chinese and Jamaican ancestry. Both of her grandparents were athletes at Virginia Tech; Dell played basketball, then played professionally in the NBA and Sonya played volleyball.
When Curry was two years old she has repeatedly stole the spotlight from her father by being her super cute self. During one of Stephen’s post-game press conferences in May 2015, Riley popped on stage because she wanted to sit on his lap. As he answered questions from journalists, Riley giggled and told him to be “be quiet.” Days later she jumped on stage during a second conference so that she could sing Big Sean‘s “Blessings” to the waiting journalists. Since then, she has continued to steal basketball fans hearts all over the world.
Her father just won his second consecutive MVP award (with an unanimous vote, no less) all eyes were on Riley as she let the media know that she was watching them during Steph’s MVP acceptance press conference on Tuesday.
Curry is the proud owner of a playhouse that is cooler than most actual houses. It is way cooler than the playhouse she was seen hanging out in around 16 months ago. This playhouse makes that playhouse look like a straight up playhovel. The new house, which was built for and unveiled on the inaugural episode of TLC’s new Playhouse.
