Marcus and Maxwell "Max" Zegarowski (born August 3, 1998) are American high school basketball players for Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire High School and are the younger brothers of current NBA player Michael Carter-Williams.
The Zegarowskis are the youngest of the zegarowski family There parents Mandy Zegarowski and Zach Zegarowski both played basketball in college and were both successful high school basketball coaches. Their older brother Michael is the starting point guard for the Milwaukee Bucks and there older sister Masey is a high school basketball player as well.
Zegarowskis are currently in their junior season at Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire.
Marcus, missed half of his freshmen season with a broken thumb. In his sophomore year he helped lead his team to undefeated 25-0 record. Marcus Zegarowski was named the Kinney Division Player of the Year
Quotes by coaches. “We really didn’t see (Marcus) last year at his best because he was coming off an injury and missed half the season. He probably wasn’t 100 percent healthy,” Hoak said.
Max was a three-point specialist and rebound machine his freshmen year, he is a (6-foot-5) more complete player. In two games during his sophomore year, Max has connected on 12 threes and scored a combined 46 points. He’s also become a better defender, a bigger factor on the boards, and his offensive game is more diverse. He was named to the Cape Ann League First Team All-Stars.
Hoak said. “Max has improved dramatically from last year. We move him around a little (defensively) depending on who’s on the floor. When we’re in a zone, we like him up top because he’s a tough kid to shoot over.”
