|Born||Ronda Crawford Burke|
|Residence||Los Angeles, California|
|Spouse||Doc Rivers (m. 1986)|
Kristen Campion met her future husband Doc Rivers in 1979 while freshmen at Marquette University. Following that winner of a pick up line, Kristen (who goes by Kris) actually dated one of Doc’s teammates for a year before she and Doc got together. Sadly at that time, our country was not as open to mixed race couples, and Kris and her family were the target of harassment. Doc and Kris married in 1986. They currently reside in Winter Park, Florida and they have four children. Her oldest son Jeremiah played basketball at Georgetown University and Indiana University, and has played in the NBA D-League for the Maine Red Claws. Her daughter Callie played volleyball for the University of Florida and then played professionally in Puerto Rico, while her second-born son Austin played one year as a guard for Duke University before being drafted by the New Orleans Hornets with the 10th pick of the 2012 NBA draft, and joined his father on the Clippers in 2015. Her youngest son, Spencer, is a guard who played for Winter Park High School and who currently plays for UC Irvine.
