Julie Leslie Thompson is a former American volleyball player for USF and is the wife of former NBA player Mychal Thompson.
She is mother of NBA champion, Klay Thompson, a professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors, and Trayce Thompson, a professional baseball player for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Life and Family
Back when she was Julie Leslie, she attended Ridgefield High School in Washington, where she was a track and volleyball star. She then went to the golden state warriors land before transferring to the University of San Francisco and dominating as a star setter.
Thompson is the wife of Mychal Thompson , who is a retired American professional basketball player. She met her future husband at a gym at the University of Portland, and they married in 1987. After getting married, they moved to the west coast, and they have three sons. Julie is the mother of three handsome sons. Her oldest son, Mychel, played for the Pepperdine University men's basketball team and made his NBA debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2012. Her middle son, Klay, played for the Washington State University men's basketball team and was selected with the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors who won the 2015 NBA Finals. Her youngest son, Trayce, plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
