Gina Johnson (previously Lillard) is the mother of NBA All-Star Damian Lillard.

Life and Family Edit

Gina Johnson was married to Houston Lillard but divorced in 2004. Even though she and Houston are no longer together they remain close friends in support of their children. The couple have three children, two sons and a daughter.

She gave birth to her first child, a son named Houston Lillard in 1986. Houston, is an Indoor Football League quarterback. Their second child, a son was born in 1990 and he is named as Damian Lillard. Damian plays for the Portland Trailblazers, he was named the 2013 Rookie of the Year and set an NBA rookie record for three-point field goals made with 185. Her third child, a daughter was born in the year 1998 and she is named as La'Nae Lillard. Currently, she is a high school basketball player at Lakeridge High School. 

Johnson currently resides in Portland with her youngest son and daughter. Johnson plays the role of her son's personal manager, chef, housekeeper, voice of reason and more while living with her son during his rookie year in Portland. Her mission: To allow her him to concentrate solely on his NBA Rookie of the Year potential. Meanwhile, she'll take care of everything else.

"I wash his clothes. I cook his food. I handle whatever deals he needs to handle," Johnson said. "Anything. Everything. He doesn't do anything but go to practice. That's all he does. That's it."
