Ashlee Nicole Roberson (March 13, 1988) is an American retired professional basketball player. Roberson played collegiately for the Texas Tech Raiders women's basketball team.

Early Life[]

Born to John and Lisa Roberson in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Ashlee was raised with six younger siblings: Amber, André, Arielle, Anthony, Aaliyah and Arianna in San Antonio. Her father played professional basketball and her mother played volleyball at New Mexico State. Her brother, André, is a member of the Brooklyn Nets. 

Roberson attended Judson High School in San Antonio, Texas, where she helped lead her team to two straight UIL and State Federation titles. As a sophomore, she gained attention for her basketball skills, city rankings had her listed as the second-best player. During her junior season, her team went undefeated posting a record of 30–0 before winning the national high school championship. She finished her high school career by helping her team post a 29–1 record which was good for third in the nation.

College years[]

Initially recruited by the University of Texas, Roberson left the school shortly after her arrival without playing a game and enrolled at South Plains College. After playing at South Plains for two years, Roberson transferred to Texas Tech, near her hometown.

During her senior year she became known for performing well against top teams in the country. She tallied 28 double-figure performances and five 20-plus games on the season including two 25 points game against top seeds Baylor and Texas. She was second in rebounds with 8.5 per game, third in scoring with 12 points per game and third in steals with 70 while shooting 43.0 percent from the field. Roberson's stellar senior season landed her a spot on the 2011–12 All-Big 12 First Team and the 2011–12 All-Big 12 Tournament Team

Professional career[]

In August 2010, Roberson signed with Galatasaray of the Turkish Women's Basketball League (KBSL) for the 2010–11 season. For the season, she averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds, and helped it reach the KBSL semi-finals. She returned to Galatasaray for the 2018–19 season where she averaged 13.4 points and once again helped the team to the semi-finals.
