Amber Teaira Burke (born December 12, 1990) is an American model, pop singer, and socialite.
Burke is the eldest child of Ronda and Alfonso "Benji" Burke II and has two siblings. Both of her younger siblings are basketball players: Trey is a member of the NBA's New York Knicks and Amani plays shooting guard for Ohio University. Her parents met while Benji attended Northwest Missouri State University, where he played Division II basketball after spending time at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.Her mother had just completed her tenure at Ruskin High School.
Burke's grandfather starred at East High School in Columbus in the 1950s and her father starred at Eastmoor Academy in the 1980s before going on to set records at Northwest Missouri State University.
Burke attended Eastmoor Academy in Columbus, Ohio and was a cheerleader and is now a singer and model. She recorded her first single Faded emotions. On January 16, 2016 Burke gave birth to her daughter Laia Raye Nettles.
